SeaChange Arts are preparing to welcome artists, not only from France, but from Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium and Sweden for next weekend’s festival.
The team have been busy with all the usual festival preparations, but also with a packed programme of workshops, auditions and commissions with the local community.
Norwich based Hocus Pocus Theatre have been commissioned to produce a new piece for the festival. The Sideshow of Curiosities will explore the hidden underbelly of the circus sideshow.
Local and national artists have also been working with local groups to produce a number of fabrications, including fireburners, banners and kinetic sculptures, which will be used to decorate the festival site.
A number of local volunteers have also been recruited to participate in both Générik Vapeur’s Bivouac, and Urban Playground’s Fusion - a show which mixes parkour and dance.
