The ZEPA project raises interest, and is often presented as a ’case study’, either as an example of a cultural European project supported by structural funds (ERDF) or to highlight a specific aspect of the project.

On 16th and 17th June 2011 derniers, Mathilde Vautier, ZEPA Coordinator and Anne Le Goff, Atelier 231’s Administrator, one of the ZEPA members presented ZEPA as part of a seminar organised by the French equivalent of the Arts Council England, the DGCA (Direction Générale de la Création Artistique) themed around the current and forthcoming European funds. The audience was mainly made of French equivalent of Regional Arts Council Officers and Combined Arts and Visual Arts Officers, and various speakers were invited, such as Relais Culture Europe with examples of the projects funded through them, French Institute, ONDA, etc.

And this week, cross border cooperation programme Interreg IVA France (Channel) - England organises its annual Event, bringing together approved and future projects. Jean-Pierre Marcos, from Pole National Arts de la rue et cirque, ZEPA lead partner, will present ZEPA, and particularly the phase 2 of the project it is planning to develop beyond 2012.
