For the 20th anniversary of Les Vieilles Charrues festival, Le Fourneau National Centre for Street arts invite festival-goers to venture in their enchanted garden, ’le Verger’ (the Orchard), for the second consecutive time.

In that space, out of time, you will bump into the Big White Fox’s poetic and magical quest, if you are a believer, or listen to the tragical tale of Sophoclès, the body-less philosopher. You will also, if you are still believer, aspire to eternal youth, share the heroic journey of two explorers of the South Pole or follow Isaiah Cran’s latest Victorian freakshow. If you really are a believer, you will also be able to see some aquatic wizardry, or Irish trapeze artists; have your picture taken, dressed in Victorian ladies and gents; attend a good table manners lesson, British style. Some even say that, for the Vieilles Charrues’s 20th Anniversary, if you go through the gate of Le Verger, you could even meet Father Christmas!
