After their residency at Atelier 231 for several weeks, UK company Tilted Productions showed the work developed to 150 spectators, an ’avant-gout’ of ’Fragile, Made in Paradise’, the company’s new show from Artistic Director and Choreographer Maresa Von Stockert.

Divided into two periods, the residency at Atelier 231 first enabled the company to finalise the architecture-based set with the support of Sotteville-based visual artist and set designer Fabrice Deperrois, who also designs the set and props for Viva Cité festival with Les Plastiqueurs collective. Then four more weeks have enabled the company to start rehearsing with the 7 dancers and circus-artists involved in the project.

The finalised show will be presented at this year’s Viva Cité. Before that, the company is in residency in March in Great Yarmouth, SeaChange’s Drill Hall creation centre and to La Brèche in Cherbourg, Basse-Normandie-based national circus centre, as part of Tilted’s involvement in the PASS project, an Anglo-French circus network.
