NoFit State Circus stops at nothing!

The company NoFit State Circus has implemented the impressive Barricade’s scenery on the historic site of the Great Lines. It does not rain as in Brighton one month ago but there is a strong wind. However, this did nothing to dampen anyone’s enthusiasm!

Spectators have set up their folding chairs around the set. Wrapped up warmly in their blankets, they are eager for the first part of the show performed by their own children who have been participating for months to circus workshops supervised by NoFit State and local companies. It is now time to see the result.

Surrounded by the Black Coats, several groups of children zigzag through the crowd. When the starting signal is given, they stop. Children, equipped with a tyre in reference to Barricade’s set, have 10 seconds to set up: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, picture! Parents follow them closely ... they do not want to miss a second of it!

Then the alarm sounds. Quick! Barricade’s hour has come!

They are keen to play tonight even if it means removing some aerial acts too dangerous to be presented when there is such a windstorm. And the NoFit State know they can count on the support of children and their families with whom they have forged a special bond. A short power outage does not disturb the artists who continue anyway. The show must go on! Spectacular numbers follow each other until the final fireworks.

Families come to thank the artists. We bet they will long remember those moments spent with the company.
