The Whalley Range All Stars were formed in 1982 by Edward Taylor and Sue Auty.

They have created over 60 different events in a variety of forms: outdoor theatre, gallery exhibitions, installations, super 8 films, lectures...

The main emphasis of their work is the combination of performance with visual arts techniques. Their work is most commonly seen in outdoor situations and informal public spaces (libraries, museums,...) ensuring that the relationship between the artist and audience is less formal than it would be in a theatre or arts centre.

They have toured their work extensively throughout Great Britain and abroad.
