After two first meetings this year in Brittany, the National Centre for Street Arts le Fourneau, the Breton cultural federation Kendalc’h, the Celtic dance circle Eostiged Ar Stangala, the Sea Change Arts team, Martine Rateau (Director) and Norfolk Dance got together this Friday in Great Yarmouth.
these various cultural organisations work on the implementation of a project involving traditional Brittany dance, Great Yarmouth’s local community, Norfolk-based dancers and the creation of a site specific show.
This project will be developed throughout next year thanks to regular exchanges on both sides of the Channel, with the aim of organising a folk gathering around traditional Brittany dance and the presentation of a show of the Celtic circle for the 2011 edition of the Out There Festival in Great Yarmouth.
