NoFit State Circus kicked off this 12th edition with their new show Barricade, co-commissioned by ZEPA.

To prepare their world premiere, the company held a residency in the Mont-Liébaut area in Béthune, from 14th to 20th May 2011, as part of European outdoor arts festival Z’arts Up!.

Almost 700 primary school children from Mont-Liébaut and their parents and teachers visited the residency site. Circus workshops for all, commented rehearsals, musical jam sessions...the various activities were a success!

The Barricade show on Friday evening was also well attended, with a 1,500 + audience!

Next dates for Barricade in Amiens, as part of the Fête dans la Ville / Street Arts in Amiens festival on 17th and 18th June 2011.
