On Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th May, the master 2 ‘Performing arts’ and the Institute of Geo-Architecture of the University of Bretagne Occidentale will organise a partnership with Le Fourneau, National Centre for Street Arts and as part of the ZEPA network, a two-day seminar on the theme ‘Arts and public space’. The seminar consists of two preliminary days of a research that the University wishes to be multiannual, to support the opening of the new Capucins area in Brest.

This university seminar will be the occasion to explore three questions:
Art and the sense of public space: rubbing and confrontation of performances.
Art on public space: Which kind of mirror of the urban fabric?
Institution/transgression: Which relationship is there with public procurement contracts?
