Gradually the festivities come to an end in Rochester Castle gardens but the day is not over! A nice surprise is waiting for us in the castle moat. Hundreds of spectators are sitting around a large metal structure. Children start playing superheroes near the battlements. This is no time to play; the show is going to start!

Les Krilati plunge us into the ambiance of a train station. It is raining. A man is waking up. He has just spent the night here and he only has a caramel for breakfast. He seems to be waiting for a train. A girl with an umbrella is suddenly appearing from nowhere. She is waiting for the Prince Charming, desperately ...Those two seem a bit lost, looking for another destiny.

Our man goes to the girl in need of love. He is awkward and shy, she is mischievous and jealous. To get to know each other words are useless, body language is enough. Especially when they are called Les Krilati!

Our two characters’ technical and artistic prowesses leave the audience speechless. They master Chinese pole, aerial tissue as well as balancing acts with a disconcerting ease. This show reminds us a silent film from the early twentieth century. It has of course a happy ending to wild applause from the crowd who will not forget this end of festival as this tweet shows: « Les Krilati were amazing! Beautiful and breathtaking! Great end to the day » (@brightshadow_uk).
