2 Rien Merci’s “Gramoulinophone”

Thursday 17 February 2011 , by Aude Pauchet (Translation  Valérie Gooch)

With a simple walnut as a pass, three characters a little bit surly with a wild glance invite us in their intimist marquee. We then discover a fairground universe strewed with unusual objects, cranks and other ingenious cogs.

In this circular space, three performers accompany us in a journey both poetic and comic where the manipulation of object becomes entangled with the practice of instruments from another time.

Despite this Thursday evening biting cold, 2 Rien Merci knew how to bring us little heat full of emotion and sensibility.
