On Sunday 9th September 2012, the famous international badminton Tornament finished off the first part of the ZEPA story.

On Friday 7th, the Fourneau CNAR team left Brest very early in the morning to take a train. Unfortunately the talented and skilled player Jean-Michel Grall had withdrawn and was standed in by Benjamin Soler, a young player trained and coached at the « Université de Bretagne Occidentale ».
In spite of a very long an tiring trip (train, ferry etc), the breton players definitely sailed through the Tornament.

Here is the official list of the winners :

Golden medal : The Fourneau - Brest / France
Silver medal : SeaChange Arts - Great Yarmouth / UK
Bronze medal : the Générik Vapeur company - Marseille / France
Friendship medal : Close Act / Netherlands and Pete Sweet / USA

And a special individual title for "the less performant but the most deserving Interreg IV player"........................................... ... ........................................ Oliver Brown / Générik Vapeur - Marseille / France.
