"Newhaven is a very likeable town. We would like to tell a story there, and involve the local community…". This week, Pierre Berthelot and Laurent Martin from French company Générik Vapeur are exploring the little town from East Sussex.
The aim of their visit, carefully organised by Zap Art, is to understand, observe and feel the town so that Pierre and Laurent’s impressions and images nurture the artistic proposal the company will develop over the next few months and perform in July 2011. And the program involves meeting with local groups, residents…and the opportunity to discuss with other ZEPA British partners from Hat Fair, Brighton Festival and SeaChange Arts.
