This year, festivities celebrating the transition between winter and spring were under the blue sky in Great Yarmouth ! More than 500 people came to King Street where, from 4pm, they could enjoy looking at Dan Peppiatt and Chris Day’s fire installations or taking part in write-on-and-carve-a-wardrobe workshops with local artists. And of course, watch the fun “Total Crêpe” competition led by Mark Mark Production ! The challenge : two teams are involved in funny challenges, for example “Fancy dress chef” where participants had to dress a person of their team as a chef as fast as possible, or “Guess the filling”, a pancake tasting race where flavours had to be guessed. The audience had great fun encouraging their favourite team !

After the challenges, Générik Vapeur team and six volunteers, who had taken part in the company’s show Bivouac last September for Out There Festival, choregraphed the confrontation between the two seasons. It finished with a big fight including flour, cornflakes, water, feathers… As expected, Spring eventually won the Victory !
