...but this time, it is L’Oiseau (the Bird), the latest show from company Les Apostrophés. And indeed, it is a bird, as described in the programme. White, purposely designed in a naïve shape, it is articulated by a rather ingenious mecanism. It flies away, then settles, croaks in your ear, enjoys a stroke and flies away again. And that’s what the birdie does, in his 40 minute walkabout ; and children are sligthly scared and adults rather amused.
A show that adapts to all sorts of audiences, here and abroad, just like another show of the company, Dislocated Passage, a very agile performance presented at Hat Fair in Winchester, the weekend after.
